About

An SC/ST Monitoring Cell is established in the college to safeguard the interests of students and staff belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), ensure implementation of government policies, and address grievances related to discrimination and welfare.

Vision of the SC/ST Cell

To create an inclusive, equitable, and supportive educational environment that empowers Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students and staff through equal opportunities, social justice, academic excellence, and holistic development.

Mission of the SC/ST Cell

  1. To safeguard the rights and interests of SC/ST students and staff in the institution.
  2. To ensure effective implementation of Government, University, and University Grants Commission policies related to reservation, scholarships, welfare schemes, and anti-discrimination measures.
  3. To provide academic, personal, and career support for the educational advancement of SC/ST students.
  4. To address grievances related to caste discrimination, harassment, or denial of rights promptly and fairly.
  5. To organize awareness programmes, mentoring sessions, remedial coaching, and skill development activities for empowerment and confidence building.
  6. To promote social harmony, equality, constitutional values, and dignity among all students and staff members.
  7. To encourage participation of SC/ST students in curricular, co-curricular, research, leadership, and community development activities.
  8. To create awareness about constitutional safeguards and legal protections available for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
