In this course, student is going to learn, Biotechnology Botany and Chemistry for 3 academic years.

What Students study?

Acquire Knowledge in theory and Practicals of Biotechnology, Botany and Chemistry. Understand the concepts, techniques of microbial biotechnology, immunology, medical microbiology, Plant Ecology, plant physiology, taxonomy, biodiversity, physical, organic and inorganic chemistry

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES:

After the completion of this course, students can go for higher education like M.Sc. Biotechnology through GAT-B examination (Graduate Aptitude Test- Biotechnology), sponsored by DBT, Master’s degree- Biotechnology/ Botany/ Chemistry/ any branch of Life sciences, JAM (Joint Admission test for Masters) to pursue Integrated PhD at IISc, IIT’s, TIFR, NCBS & IISER’s.

In the final year the students have a lot of opportunities to start their careers as an Employee in either national or international companies. SKILL ATTAINED

Develop familiarity in current techniques of life sciences and have the ability to critically analyse, apply and establish a research process in specific areas. PROGRAM  OUTCOME FOR GRADUATES

Graduates will be able to:
