Welcome to Physical Education Department

The Physical Education department is existing from the start of the college in 1994. College has allotted 7 acres of land for Sports & Games. So, the department is having sufficient area for the outdoor and indoor games and is maintained regularly.

Timings:

The ground is utlized throughout the day till 6.00 PM. The training sessions for teams for various games start at 3.00 PM. 

When ever lectures go on leave the students are sent to the ground to play the games of their choice. 

The play fields Volleyball, Kabaddi, Basket Ball, Foot Ball, Hockey, Ball Badminton, Throw ball,  Hand Ball, Badminton and also 200 meters track is available for regular practice. Indoor Games like Caroms, Chess and Ten stations Gym walker, Tread Mill, Cycling for men and Fitness items for women are also available.

St. Joseph's gives prime importance to Game and Sports. It has the credit of hosting

1. Inter Collegiate games in Group A & Group B for both men and women every year.

2. College has the credit of conducting South Zone tournament for Volley Ball (1999), Basket Ball (2000)  and Hand Ball (2018).

3. St. Joseph's takes the pride of hosting All India Volley Ball (1999) tournament for Women.
